Annotation | This publication has been produced as a result of the seminar, 'Working Together', held at the Royal College of Art in October 1996. It is about the process of bringing older people, designers and industry together to improve the quality of goods and services in general, and the quality of life of older people in particular. The book aims to encourage practical action, and emphasises the advantages of working together with people from different disciplines and age groups, giving examples of collaboration in action. Experience suggests that success comes when people begin to listen to each other and work together, sharing their own particular interests, abilities and insights. |
