Annotation | This booklet is a shortened version of 'Options for long term care: economic, social and ethical choices', edited by Tessa Harding, Barbara Meredith and Gerald Wistow, published by HMSO in 1996. The booklet gives a brief account of a conference with this title, organised by the National Institute for Social Work (NISW), the National Consumer Council, and the Nuffield Institute's Community Care Division, which was held on 30th November/1st December 1995. The conference's aim was to stimulate a broadly-based debate about this important and complex area of policy. |
