Annotation | While the literature on sexuality and ageing has grown in the past twenty years, there is a gap in the literature regarding countertransference and sexuality and older women. Specifically, topics which were once taboo among younger women such as incest, masturbation, homosexuality, and sexual affairs are still invisible in research about older women. This paper uses case examples to illustrate countertransference and treatment issues for therapists working with older women. |
