Annotation | The abusive geriatric patient can be problematic and emotionally disruptive for those in close contact. A more harmonious situation must be generated for all concerned, including the abuser. Through education, stress management training, and the implementation of proven behavioural control techniques, qualitative improvement can be made in the abuser's behaviour. |
