Annotation | Several methods have been used to try to calculate the different amounts of money which families need to live on depending on their size and circumstances. This experimental study compares what incomes different households need in order to achieve the same overall score on a standard of living index based on measures of consumption and participation. The analysis produced consistent findings which confirm some common assumptions but challenge others. |
