Annotation | Although long-term care (LTC) has been treated in the literature largely as an institutional issue, this paper focuses on home and community based care. It deals with an overview of LTC in the US, followed by the evolution of and trends in home- and community-based care and their sources. A summary of home-care arrangements is followed by a description of the type of data available on disabled older people and their use of such care. |
