Annotation | While the allied health disciplines are relevant to the care of frail older people with multiple chronic conditions and rehabilitation needs, comparatively little is known concerning the training in gerontology and geriatrics that is provided to allied health students. This article reports on a survey to ascertain the extent of such training and education in an allied health sciences school. The findings indicate that a substantial number of courses had ageing-related information as part of their content. |
