Annotation | This report concerns older people who suffer from functional psychological disorders - particularly schizophrenia and depression - and focuses on their housing needs, which have gone ignored. The report examines: current provision, in long-stay hospital wards and hostels for the homeless; appropriate housing; and the role of housing services and the professional. Results of a questionnaire circulated to housing and health care providers on policies relating to community care and housing are analysed, and a literature review is also provided. |
