Annotation | Scientific evidence is sparse but accumulating, that physical activity has a therapeutic value for adults afflicted with Alzheimer's disease, though the mechanisms are not at all well understood. Regular physical activity, emphasizing success and neural stimulation, may be significant not only in promoting the health and well-being of those with dementia, but may also give some respite to caregivers who may ultimately appreciate improved behaviour patterns. |
