Annotation | Reports on a study which investigated the extent to which older people in long-term care exercise autonomy, drawing on an evaluation research project on the feasibility and effectiveness of the Royal College of Physicians' CARE scheme. Findings suggest that most centres have procedures in place to enable residents to exercise choice and to make complaints, but only half provide opportunities for residents to comment on policy and procedure. |
