AnnotationReports on a study which aimed to determine the types of environmental hazard associated with falls resulting in hip fracture, for a consecutive series of patients over a period of three years. Findings revealed a variety of hazards, and the article concludes that measures to reduce the risk of falls due to these factors are unlikely to result in a significant reduction in hip fractures.
