| Annotation | Reports on a study which aimed to identify how the experience of old age in Hong Kong is represented through images in newspapers, using a qualitative and quantitative methodological design. It reveals that the predominant theme in most categories of news stories was vulnerability of older people, and that the stories show the cultural values underpinning the dominant images of older people in Hong Kong. |
