AnnotationReports on a study which examined the relationship of a number of specific behavioural problems to the distress, in terms of burden and depression, experienced by informal dementia caregivers. The findings show that aimlessness, aggressive behaviours, forgetfulness and restlessness are correlated with increased feelings of burden, and that apathy is strongly correlated with both feelings of burden and depression.
