Annotation | The authors describe the influence of empowerment-oriented group intervention on the relationships of older women, by conducting interviews with participants and their social work staff. The findings suggest that as well as other empowerment outcomes, these participants developed sustaining relationships with each other and often seriously considered the nature of their other late life relationships. |
