Annotation | The main purpose of this Bill is to put in place the necessary legislative amendments to complete the reform of NHS complaints procedures, by removing the statutory bar on the Health Service Commissioner investigating complaints about matters involving clinical judgment and about family health services. The Bill amends the Health Service Commissioners Act 1993. The 1993 Act provides for there to be Commissioners for England, Wales and Scotland. The three offices have always been held by one person.
