Annotation | This circular will no longer apply in full, or part, from 1 April 2002. This circular provides guidance on improving the way in which the Registered Homes Act 1984 is applied and enforced in residential care homes. It complements Local Authority Circular, LAC (94)16, which strengthens the regulatory system by introducing lay assessors and improving the effectiveness and independence of inspectors. (AKM). |
