AnnotationIn November 1990 Congress authorised the Task Force on Aging Research (USA) to assess progress in the scientific understanding of ageing, to advise where studies should take place and recommend on the allocation of resources. This report contains the recommendations for research into a range of issues related to ageing and older people, including diseases and disabilities, mental disorders, health care, social and behavioural functioning, economic security, services and minority ethnic populations.
