Annotation | This Circular outlines the content of the National Assistance (Charges for Accommodation) Regulations, coming into operation on 6 April 1992. It sets out the revised minimum charge and personal allowance for those provided with residential accommodation under Part III of the National Assistance Act 1948, and refers to an increase in the therapeutic earnings limit for those in receipt of sickness or invalidity benefit or severe disablement allowance. It cancels Local authority circular LAC(91)5. The guidance in this notice will cease to be valid from March 1996. (RH). |
