Annotation | Current family caregiving trends are reviewed with regard to their impact on employed carers' productivity in the workplace and on their personal well-being. Several private employer assistance programmes and the supportive services they offer to help employees with older-care commitments are described. Guidelines cited in the literature are offered to serve as a guide for developing and managing such programmes. (RH). |
