Annotation | Study of what influences the decisions of elderly people when moving to retirement homes. A distinction was found between former owner-occupiers, for whom various life-span transitions such as declining health, widowhood, or changing neighbourhoods were important, and former non homeowners for whom the primary concern was cost and quality of accommodation. |
