AnnotationThis pack grew out of a community care based project in Oxford, involving older learners. All had left school at the earliest possible age, and none had participated since in any formal educational activities. The pack is intended for small groups of people who want to put together a varied programme of activities for themselves. It comprises nine sets of activities: myths about ageing; creative writing; listening skills; services and information; raising issues; health; reading for pleasure; and fun with figures. (RH).
