AnnotationSeries DH5 Mortality statistics: area. Annual with microfiche (since 1980). From 1993 DH5 will be discontinued and such tables as have been retained will be combined with Series DH1, so no.19 (1992) is the last one in the DH5 series. However one table from DH5 will not be included in the DH1 series, and will be produced in an unpublished form separately as Table VS3 (Mortality Statistics) annually. Series DH5 contained statistics on deaths by usual area of residence in England and Wales. The main set of statistics on deaths by cause, sex and age group was presented on microfiche and gave detailed statistics for each local authority and each health area.
