Annotation | This paper describes two small projects which were innovations in service provision for old people. The boarding-out scheme employed a social worker to organise short-term fostering for older people. The community care nursing scheme employed a nurse for two blocks of flats known to have a large proportion of elderly tenants. Both reports cover work done in Liverpool between 1979 and 1981. The authors attempt to highlight features in common and differences between the two schemes. |
