| Annotation | The research reported in this book forms part of an ongoing programme of housing studies and research into the needs of older people. The aim of this study was to identify and critically assess the extent of unmet needs for housing and care facilities for older people in Hall Green, a suburb in Birmingham. It focused on the characteristics of the older population in the suburb; the extent of provision of housing for older people; the state of repair of the homes of older people; and the changing role of private, voluntary, housing association and public agencies in providing housing.
