| Annotation | This chapter attempts to give an overview of health visitor involvement with older people who are in good health. The possible benefits of health visitor visits to older people are discussed, and the need for and problems involved in evaluating health visiting are explored. A study which attempted to evaluate the outcome of health visitor intervention to a population of older people is reported in detail.
