Annotation | "Community transport" is the fourth in a series of seminars organised by the University of Keele and the Beth Johnson Foundation, concerned with the mobility needs of older and disabled people and how they can best be satisfied. The term "community transport" is taken in its broadest context, to encompass the many means by which local transport demands of communities are met. The papers presented demonstrate a variety of imaginative approaches in meeting community needs for transport. (RH). |
