Annotation | The Training for Care Staff Programme was undertaken by the National Institute for Social Work. It is part of the Caring in Homes Initiative set up by the Department of Health (DoH) in 1989, to follow up some of the recommendations in the Wagner report, 'Residential care - a positive choice'. The Programme demonstrates how training can be planned and implemented in residential care homes. |
