AnnotationThe consultation was held in pursuance of the World Health Organization (WHO) goal of Health for All, and the 38 Targets of Health for All of the WHO Regional Office for Europe. Participants discussed issues concerning the health of an increasing elderly population, and the role of health education in promoting health amongst them. Presentations at the conference included case studies from a range of European countries, and papers on health education needs for retirement, health education and old age, and future policies of WHO.
