Council housing, tenure polarisation and older people in two contrasting locations | Author(s) | Robin Means |
Journal title | Ageing and Society, vol 8, part 4, December 1988 |
Pages | pp 395 - 421 |
Keywords | Housing [elderly] ; Local Authority Housing. |
Annotation | The importance of housing issues in old age is illustrated and a more sophisticated view of older people than that achieved by much housing research is argued for by the author. Many older people wish to enter local authority council housing and they have strong views on what is the "best" and "worst" property on offer. (KJ). |
