| Annotation | This publication brings together three papers delivered by Frederic Seebohm at crucial stages in the development of the personal social services. The first was to a press conference organised by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government to launch the Seebohm report in 1968, which was to transform the organisation of personal social services in this country. The second was given to a meeting of the British Association of Social Workers (BASW) in 1977; and the third was the Annual Public Lecture at the University of Southampton in November 1988. |
