Annotation | The proposal for a Council Directive completing the implementation of the principle of equal treatment for men and women in statutory and occupational social security schemes, is examined. The Select Committee considers that the state pensions ages of men and women should be equal. This was the general view of witnesses, although there were differences of opinion about how this could best be achieved. (RH). |
