AnnotationSince 1989, the Berlin Red Cross Regional Association has regarded older migrants as partners and participants in the development of joint social services for Germans and immigrants, starting with a project with older Turkish women. This conference aims to contribute to the evaluation of working with older migrants in Great Britain, the Netherlands and Germany, to develop ideas and suggest ways of implementing them. Papers and reports variously cover living conditions, health needs, the psychology of ageing and economic situation from older migrant perspectives. The conference was held in co-operation with the University of Lancashire, Preston, and supported and financially assisted by the European Commission. (RH).
