AnnotationA Community of Practice (CoP) set up in Northamptonshire wanted to raise awareness of dementia, but the question was, how to do it. This article looks at the idea suggested by a Danish visitor, of a Memory Day, whereby local health and social care organisations, carers, volunteers and academics get together to share knowledge and information. It looks at the range of activities, training sessions, stands and entertainment offered; the resulting feedback from events run in 2016 and 2017; and plans for a 2018 Memory Day at venues across the county.
