Annotation | Opportunities for arts activities in care homes are often limited and their value may go unrecognised. The author and colleagues at Nottingham City Arts consider attitudes towards creative arts, care home residents' expectations, and obstacles to participation in arts activities. They also discuss findings from "Imagine Arts", a three-year programme managed by care home provider Abbeyfield, and led by City Arts Nottingham, to engage and stimulate people who live and work in residential and other care settings to have access to arts-related activities.
