Annotation | Posterior cortical atrophy (PSA) is a rare progressive condition in which there is damage to the brain cells at the back of the brain. The authors discuss this rare form of dementia, in which people often experience initial symptoms in their 50s and 60s. This was the experience of Linda Hall, who was diagnosed at the age of 59 by the Cardiff memory team; she and her husband Ken are interviewed in this article. (RH). |
