Annotation | The Jewish community has twice the number of people aged over 60 compared to the general. population; yet the majority of resources is directed towards young people. Based on a consultation with more than 450 people, this report investigates what it is like for people as they age within the Jewish community. It focuses on five areas: spiritual and emotional well-being; intellectual and lifelong learning; active participation and connection; independence and healthy living; and care. Recommendations for action are made for the short, medium and long terms. (RH) |
