AnnotationThis publication discusses intergenerational family relationships in the context of ageing societies, and has evolved from the framework of the Multilinks research project. It is based on data from the Generations and Gender Programme (GGP), a system of national Generations and Gender Surveys (GGS) and contextual databases, which aims to improve the knowledge base for policy-making in the UNECE countries. It analyses: the demography of intergenerational family relationships; interdependencies between older and younger family members; and gendered intergenerational regimes. (RH).
