AnnotationThe International Longevity Center (ILC) regards quality of life as a priority: it is not enough for people to life for along time, they should also live well. This United Nations Quality of Life Symposium (sponsored by International Longevity Center, USA and the Mission of the Dominican Republic to the UN) brought together leaders of the ILCs, and a representative of the Dominican Republic, who provided a voice from the Third World. This symposium was part of continuing education to help UN member states to work to improve older people's material well-being and quality of life. (RH).
