AnnotationHow can people with early stage dementia be helped to be more confident in managing their everyday lives? The authors discuss findings from a new self-managerment programme to help those with early stage dementia to understand the condition better, manage their memory difficulties, and find ways of dealing with changes in their lifestyle. They also discuss findings from an evaluation of the programme, which consisted of 8 weekly 90-minute group sessions. (RH).
