AnnotationThis book explores how telecare can contribute to the support, protection and quality of life of people with dementia. Telecare provision is considered in relation to: the importance of good needs and risk assessment; ethical aspects; care and support; and issues particular to carers. It includes case studies, an outline training programme, and examples of equipment. This is one of four publications funded by the Scottish Government's National Telecare Development Programme.
