Annotation | The purpose of this report is to celebrate existing good practice in the use of the arts with and for old older people in residential care, and how this is integral to excellence in social care. The authors outline the place of arts in National Care Forum (NCF) care homes, and offer five good practice case studies from other care home providers and five examples from arts organisations. Appendices include a listing of national and local arts organisations that are committed to working with older people, as well as practical tips for care home managers and arts practitioners working in care homes.
