AnnotationThis is one of six publications funded by the Scottish Government's National Telecare Development Programme, with the strategic aim of raising awareness of the importance of telehealthcare in health and social care services. It covers the causes, consequences, prevention and management of falls; the importance of needs and risk assessments; ethical dilemmas and how these can be resolved; issues particular to carers; and the content of a suggested training programme.
