AnnotationLooks at ways in which Age UK and other voluntary agencies are responding to the challenges of an ageing population. The author argues that the nonprofit sector is uniquely posed to contribute its experience and expertise to influence major international policy to improve the lives of older people. There appears to be a gap between what is provided and what older people say is right for them, and nonprofits are well placed to bridge this gap. (JL).
