Annotation | James McKillop had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease (AD) aged 59, and having always talked about the condition, was a founder member of the Scottish Dementia Working Group in 2002. When he arrived in Tokyo in November 2015, he said that he had nothing to declare except the right of people to live well with dementia. This article describes his interactions and the positive messages he shared with audiences in Japan. (RH). |
