Annotation | Architecture and design students were asked to design accessible residential building, with a focus on individual dwellings. This jury report and book of designs from the European Federation for Living (EFL) Accessible Housing Design student competition features the winning 2015-2016 entries. The competition brief emphasised the ability of housing that would respond to the changing needs of an increasingly ageing society, whereby the suggested schemes would provide both functionality and accessibility. Jeremy Porteus, Director of the Housing Learning and Improvement Network was a jury member, hence this report's presence on the Housing LIN website. (RH). |
