AnnotationThe authors outline how services in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire have been developing the way in which CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) for family carers of people with dementia is offered. They reflect on some of the learning from their service development in CBT group work, and outline a current randomised control trial (RCT), 'Caring for Me and You' hosted within the service and funded by the Alzheimer's Society, which is evaluating the effectiveness of a newly-developed computerised CBT package for family carers who have anxiety and depression. The article includes examples of carers' feedback at follow-up assessment. (RH).
