AnnotationIn 2011, the Commission on Funding of Care and Support chaired by Andrew Dilnot published recommendations on how to share care costs between the state and individuals. This article summarises comments by organisations such as the King's Fund on the decision to postpone until 2020 implementing the cap on care costs, only weeks after the election on 7 May 2015 of a Conservative administration.
