Annotation | This article looks at how urban public spaces can be created that are attractive to older people. Highlights seven principles of good design proposed by CABE (Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment), and how they may be applied. IDGO (Inclusive Design for Getting Outdoors) have also issued a number of guides looking at the design of streets with older people in mind, focusing on seating, footpaths, street art and other areas.
