Annotation | This special issues of Journal of Housing for the Elderly comprises eleven article by authors from the five Nordic countries: three from Finland, two from Denmark, two from Norway, and one from Iceland. While articles do not reflect the comprehensive knowledge base on housing and social policy relating to older people in Scandinavia, the aim is to cover issues on wider debates on housing. The basic principle that older people have the right to live in housing that is adequate and meets their needs and preferences is emphasised. (RH). |
