Annotation | Many employers want to do the right thing if people who work for them develop dementia. This pamphlet discusses some of the issues related to employment and dementia, and highlights ways in which employers can become more dementia friendly. It covers openness about dementia, getting a diagnosis, adjusting to dementia, and retirement. This is one of a series of guides designed to support the involvement of people with dementia and has been co-produced with people with dementia. It was created with the help of Open Doors, Salford, and the Kent dementia envoy. (RH). |
